Brief Description of Persona:
  • Around 6'2" and built very lean X'aer looks far more like a runner than a dragonrider. Light brown hair, green eyes and a baby face give X'aer a boyishly cute appearance. His skin is mid-tone brown, and his hands are smooth and clean, as his job as a dragonhealer requires.

  • X'aer has an incredibile ability to concentrate which is often time the thing people notice most about him. When his concentration is fixed on you he can make you feel as if you are the only living thing in the universe, but if he is concentrated on something else (like dragonhealing) he can make you feel as if you don't even exist. He loves children and animals. On a personal level, he rarely loses his temper, but if people don't seek out proper medical atention it can make him snap. X'aer has a very protective nature towards everyone, regardless of if they are a young child or a fully grown rider.

    Brief History of Persona:
  • Born in a small cot hold to a single mother, Xavaer was the oldest of five children. He was several turns older than the next oldest child, so he was used to being in change of his younger siblings, and was very protective of them. At 13 Xavaer apprentisted as a healer, but he only got through a few months of training before he was searched for Fort Weyr. He failed to impress at his first hatching, but remained in the weyr to try again. As a candidate he was often asigned to help the dragonhealers as he already had some medical training. When X'aer impressed brown Haluth the dragonhealers had already marked him for a future trainee. Once done with weyrlinghood X'aer study to become a dragonhealer. After spending a good many years at Fort, and recently losing a weyrmate, X'aer decided it was time to move on. Excited to try a warm climate, X'aer transferred to Dawning Light Weyr.

    Brief Description of Dragon:
  • Large for a brown, and very dark in color, Haluth must be the most laid back dragon on Pern. He's not lazy really, he just really doesn't care. He likes everyone, mainly because he is too laid back to dislike anyone. .

    Brief Description of Pet:
  • Lil is a large gray canine. Very sweet tempered and loyal. She follows X'aer around whenever given the chance.
