Brief Description of Persona:
  • Avensis is tall for a pernese worman, around 5'8 and weights clsoe to 200lbs even. This isnt to say she is fat, but she has a full figure, with well developed calves. Rust colored hair falls in ringlets around her heartshaped face, framing her high cheek bones. Her eyes are a deep shade of klah brown, flecked with bits of grey around the iris. Broad shoulders, full breasts and wide hips mark her as a good woman for child bearing. Her skin is light colored, easily burnable and she has a smattering of light brown freckles across her nose.

    Avensis favors dresses of green and navy blue, but is more often than not found in browns pants and vests, with cream or white shirts. Not much for jewelry or hair styling, Avensis usually wears her hair down and loose.

  • Avensis is a dedicated Crafter, married to her work. She has a keen interest in anything that involves the sky,particularly the night's sky. But her main passion is for the Red Star and absorbing all the information about it she can get her hands on. A studious bookworm, Avensis never thought about becoming a dragonrider and actually fighting Thread. That explains why when it comes down to talking about Impression, she gets a little shy. Shes confident on her craft abilities, but not confident that she will Impress a dragon of Pern. The subject, Impression, almost always learns her feeling shy and frustrated.

    Brief History of Persona:
  • Avensis was born at Lemos Hold in the North, born to two crafters. However, her parents were Harpers, not Starsmiths. From a very small age, Avensis was inamored with the sky, stars and planets that surrounded Pern and wanted to know everything she could. Wanting to accomodate their daughter, they sent her to a Starsmith, who eventually took on the small girl as his apprentice.

    Working diligently, Avensis earned her Master's respect. She studied hard, drilled herself on her schooling and she was aquick learner. She never wasted time on daydreaming, for she wanted to be a Master StarSmith on day. Eventually it was this hard work ethic that earned her two firelizard eggs. A present from her master after she reached the age of sixteen and earned her senior apprentice knots. Her firelizard eggs eventually hatched, bearing her a shiny bronze firelizard and an icy blue firelizard.

    Avensis was Searched at the age of seventeen. Honored but unsure of what to do, she consulted her master. He urged her to try and Impress at Dawning Light Weyr and return to him if she was not sucessful. So off Avensis went, to she if she really was 'dragon' material.

    Brief Description Of Pet:

  • Zazla- a large bronze firelizard, Zazla is a bright gold-brown, with striations of emerald green running in viens across his wings and tail. His tail is also spleckled with darker brown spotches. Zazla is a jealous firelizard, constantly trying to keep all of Avensis for himself.

  • Zhamu- an icy blue colored firelizard, Zhamu is a small blue flit. His wing membranes are much dark than his hide, a deep midnight blue. He also has a speckeling of blueberry blue flecks across his wings and chest. The baby, Zhamu is always cuddling up to Avensis, trying to steal all the attention away from Zazla.
