Brief Description of Persona:

  • Ar'ivr has beautiful yellowish-green eyes, almost like a cat's eyes in color. He is 5'9" and weighs 202 pounds. He is very muscular and has the tanned skin to go with it. His hair is dark brown that varies in length. Ar'ivr has a small gotee that he usually keeps short, and occasionally shaves off completely. His face is rather long and round, with a sharp jaw line and an average guy nose. Ar'ivr has a habit of biting his nails so they are almost always short and stubby.

  • He is a rather cheerful person but also has a darker more serious side to him at times but mostly keps it under wraps. He's newer at his job but trains his weyrlings to the best of his abilities and their's. Romantically, Ar'ivr hasn't found the right woman for him yet but the search still continues. Ar'ivr is a determined and persistent man which, when dealing with weyrlings isn't a bad trait at all. As a teacher he's easy to come and talk to and can get down on the weyrlings' level while still keeping his authorative stature.

    Brief Description of History:
  • Born Arievar, he grew up at the Seacrafter Hall. His father worked on the ships there and his mother was a harper and cook for the Hall. Ar'ivr mainly stayed by himself, never really having any other close siblings. Determined not be lonely he made many friends around the Hall and was always out with them finding new adventures, troubles, and things to catch. He learned the tricks of the trade until he was searched at age 15. He moved out of the Hall awaiting his new life as a dragonrider. His parent's came to the hatching and watched him Impress bronze Rumbedth on his first stand. That was the last time he saw his parents for a while. Ar'ivr and Rumbedth grew quickly together and graduated at the top of their class. Now the pair have been asked to teach Pern's future dragonriders and become the Weyrlingmaster. Never shying from a challenge, and this was a big one, Ar'ivr and Rumbedth accepted the job.
