Brief Description of Persona:
A'milon is rather average in looks, with the exception of his red
hair. He stands 6 foot even, and weighs 210 pounds. His eyes are blue,
and he has the freckles that are common to red-heads. A rather nasty
thread scar runs from his left shoulder to his lower back in.
Mild mannered best discribes A'milon. He has a wealth of patients, at
least for those who give an honest effort. A'milon has little
tolerance for weyrlings who do not put in as much effort as they
could. It is his theory that you can accomplish anything if you work
hard enough for it. He is very fair with the weyrling in his charge,
but also very firm. No one gets away with anything with A'milon in
charge.
Brief History of Persona:
A'milon is the only child born to a cook at Fort Weyr. Though Aleria
never knew who her son's father was he was a much wanted child and she
dotted upon him. He was spoiled rotten as a child, but managed to
survive it without becoming totally full of himself.
Like most weyr brats, he A'milon began standing for clutches as soon
as he was allowed. Several turns of clutches left him disappointed. It
wasn't until he was 15 that bronze Olenth hatched and chose A'milon as
his lifemate.
At 35 A'milon took a position as wingsecond. He only held that
position for a few months before it was decided that he should take on
the newly vacated weyrlingmaster spot. It was a position he loved, and
still loves
When A'milon was nearly 40 he got a greenrider pregnant during a
flight. Nine months later Rean was born and the greenrider died in
childbirth. Despite being a dedicated bachlor, A'milon refused to
foster his daughter. Several of the lower cavern's women took pity on
him and helped with Rean while he attended his duties as
weyrlingmaster.
Recently A'milon decided to take the position of weyrlingmaster at
Dawning Light. This was largely due to the desire for a change of
scenery and also the desire to allow his former weyrlingmaster second
to move up the ranks. Rean, now 16, comes with him to Dawning Light.
Brief Description of Dragon:
Olenth is dark in color and slightly larger than average size. He's a
good looking bronze, well proportioned and muscular. As he's aged he
has developed light freckling along his muzzle, but A'milon is the
only one who really notices.
Steady best discribes Olenth. Turns of working with nervous and scared
weyrlings as taught him to be very calm. He knows that he is a leader
to the younger and he takes that position seriously.
